In my case, I was referring to https://www.vintageshifi.com

I used no proxy/VPN, and using Ublock Origin to block scripting/ads, I downloaded 7.61GB (almost all of their stuff) without a problem. Download speeds averaged 28.2MB/Sec from noon to almost 4PM on September 26, 2019. WinHTTrack nabbed them for me, all automated. They didn't block me, so their IP logs apparently go un-searched.

Most VPNs are blocked wholesale on the common blacklists - I used to use Windscribe, but found all but 6 of their IP addresses blocked by some of my subscription services. No real advantage to having it, so I dropped it. I'm behind a hardware firewall, a router, and a local virtual machine, so.... At work, even more, but that leads to other issues with common websites - mostly their poor security posture (SSL vs TLS 1.2 being the biggest culprit - come on, folks!).

Archive.org has ~50% of vintageshifi.com's stuff, and a lot of HifiEngine and VinylEngine's stuff too, along with a massiveEuropean manual dump from some generous soul (No contributor listed, but they all appeared during 2019-2020.).

I started collecting datasheets, manuals and all PDF catalogs back in 1997, courtesy of an underused T1 line we had in our building, connected to only 3 desktops. Good ol' Verizon raised the contract $, so we lost it after 11 months, but I'd snagged eighteen 20GB hard disks full of nothing but PDFs from the web. I'm at 18.7 TB, just in PDF manuals(commercial/test equipment and military), and I don't have the time or energy to sort through about 16TB of datasheets - just too many. I need a document server with archiving software, I guess. :DToo busy enjoying other endeavors.

DefaultRe: How to contact HiFi Engine?

I've checked HFE a minute ago, there is still no 'messages' section, and if I select 'Requests' I still get 'You are not allowed to post new content in the forum' SInce there is no means to contact HFE, and I can't send PMs, etc., I have no way to know why this has happened, but it's sice I tried to download the Schematics for a Bose Wave radio from HFE and, finding them virtually unreadable, I posted a comment/request about this, giving details of my PC, OS, etc., but no personal info. Next time I checked in, I received the 'Not Allowed' message. It would be good to know which of their rules I've inadvertantly transgressed, or whether any othe HFE members have also been blocked, whilst still retaining access to all other sections of their site.

DefaultNew Hifi Engine website

Folks, I am in process of making a website to replace HiFi Engine and looking to recruit help. My issue with that site started last week while visiting a local friend also in the Vintage repair business. He was at he moment fixing a fisher receiver, he attempted to download the manual from HiFi Engine it didn't work, not thinking about it I volunteer to use my login to see if would work (or if it was a temporary website issue, etc) and now we are both banned for life. My colleague (a 65 year old man well respected in the southern Ontario audio community with 45 years expience & 20 year speaker designer at Angstrom Speakers (when Higher Fidelity Company own it)) was using the site day prior with no issue, that was his first download that day. He & I were both long time users and never believe we violated any rules & respected the site's rules. Apparently they don't respect users and banned them for what ever reason they feel. So be it, don't care if the owner is that petty its his site to be petty about. I have registered HifiEgine.ca and have approx 100g of schematics to initially populate it with. I plan to offer the same upload/download ability but what I would like to change is obviously the "banning for life" aspect, have a method to contact me if there is a problem, I don't care if users have more then one account, larger download quota per day, and if someone wants a copy of everything on site they can cover my cost to ship a usb drive to them, not have the pfd's password protect so user can clean there copy up should they so decide, (again another of HiFiEngine.com's petty doings, guy it password protecting a item he is basically pirating himself (come on really!, Hypocrite at its finest)) etc etc. Basically remove the petty paranoid crap Hifiengine.com presently has. I am willing to maintain site myself as in terms of cost/equipment just need website programming help to get it going. Any body interested please contact me

She eagerly sucks in his sponge and begins to suck with relish. I put it on my back, push aside the lacy black panties and insert it into her moist, pink slit. And the woman really was.

She never got drunk, always came not very late and was quite sober. One day, she threw her shoes down the hallway. I picked it up in the morning.
