To obtain Keldeo, you'll first need to have caught all three Swords of Justice Pokemon - Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion by investigating their footprints for Professor Sonia.
After you've caught all three, make sure you have Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion in your party and fly to Dyna Tree Hill.
There's a small island on the water next to the large tree where you encountered the Galarian Legendary Birds.
Hop on your bicycle and enter the water, heading towards the island with two trees on it.
Approach the tree on the left and you'll see a set of orange footprints as well as a cooking pot.
When interacting with the footprints it will inform you that "There's Pokemon evidence unlike any you've found before!"
While you can't interact with the cooking pot itself, it's a subtle hint that you should cook some curry.
Set up your Pokemon Camp near the pot and cook some curry. It doesn't matter what type of curry you cook for this specific encounter. Once you and your Pokemon are nice and full, exit your camp.
At this time, Keldeo should have spawned near the center of the island and will begin roaming around.
Approach Keldeo to start the battle. Make sure you're equipped with a capable team and have enough Poke Balls for the encounter.
Keldeo is a Level 65 Water and Fighting-type Pokemon.
Keldeo is not shiny locked in the Crown Tundra.

Video Guide
Keldeo (Pokémon)
Keldeo (Japanese: ケルディオKeldeo) is a dual-type Water/FightingMythical Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
While it is not known to evolve into or from any Pokémon, Keldeo has a second form from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 onward, which requires it to know the move Secret Sword. Its original form, Ordinary Form, will then become Resolute Form.
Keldeo was leaked on a photo of a page from CoroCoro magazine on February 13, 2012, and it was officially revealed on February 15, 2012. Its Resolute Form was officially revealed on June 13, 2012.
Along with Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, Keldeo is a member of the Swords of Justice.
Biology
Keldeo is a quadrupedal, colt-like Pokémon with a cream-colored body. It has a short, rounded snout with large nostrils and blue eyes. It has a large, feathery red mane, long, dark blue, ridged eyebrow-like protrusions, and a single cream-colored horn that curves slightly. The back of its head, as well as its neck, is covered with fluffy, light blue fur. Keldeo has blue hooves, which are capable of ejecting water. Its tail is light blue with white spots and resembles an elaborate feather in a cap.
Upon learning Secret Sword, Keldeo transforms into its Resolute Form. The dark blue protrusions become shorter and lighter in color, resembling ears. Its horn becomes dark blue and grows larger and ridged. On the side of its head are three feathers colored aqua blue, green, and orange.
Keldeo was trained by the other members of the Swords of Justice. Keldeo tends to cross the world and often appears at beautiful watersides. Keldeo also travels in order to further improve itself through training. It can walk across the water by ejecting water from its hooves. It is said Keldeo must endure harsh battles in order for the forehead horn to develop, which then its true power will be awakened.
It is thought that when Keldeo becomes resolute, its body fills with power and it becomes swifter. The horn on its forehead is filled with hidden power. The horn can change into a sword that can cut through anything.
History
Long ago, a fire started in the Moor of Icirrus because of a war among people. In this fire, Keldeo was separated from its parents, but together, Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion took care of Keldeo. They acted as its parents, and they taught it knowledge and moves for survival. Keldeo eventually grew and even surpassed the three Pokémon. One day, Keldeo took off from the forest with no one knowing why.
When the four meet again, they teach Keldeo the move Secret Sword.

Pokmon Crown Tundra Keldeo: How to find and catch Keldeo, including its moveset in Crown Tundra explained
Keldeo, the Colt Pokémon, is hiding out in the Crown Tundra in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
To track it down, you must first catch the other members of the Swords of Justice quartet - Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion.
Once you've caught these three legendary Pokémon, it's time to find and catch Keldeo in the Crown Tundra.
On this page:
How to find Keldeo in Pokémon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra
Before you can find Keldeo in the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield, you must first catch the other members of the Swords of Justice quartet - Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion in your team.
Once you've done that you need to head to Ballimere Lake in the southern region of the Crown Tundra. The quickest way to reach this area is to fly to Dyna Tree Hill.

When you reach Ballimere Lake, you need to head onto the lake itself by going down one of the two inclines around its shore. Once you're out on the water, head to the small island in the lake.

There you'll find two trees and a cooking pot next to one of these trees.

If you head over to the cooking pot, you'll notice a set of footprints that are for a Pokémon that you've never seen before. I think you know, however, which Pokémon they belong to.

Before you can summon Keldeo, however, you need to ensure that you have Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion in your team.
Next, you need to set up camp, ideally next to the cooking pot, and make a curry; it doesn't matter what kind of curry you make.

After eating the curry, leave your campsite and Keldeo will appear on the island.

Take the time to organise your team and save your game, so you can reload your save file if something goes wrong in the battle, before fighting Keldeo. You can battle Keldeo without having Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion in your team, so feel free to switch them out if you want.

How to catch Keldeo in Pokémon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra explained
The Keldeo you encounter in the Crown Tundra DLC will be level 65 and is a water and fighting-type Pokémon.
Keldeo is weak against fairy, flying, grass, electric and psychic-type Pokémon.

Before you attempt to catch Keldeo, make sure that you've brought healing items for your team and enough PokéBalls; we recommend around 50 Ultra Balls just to be safe, but you can always use a Master Ball for a guaranteed catch. Just remember - you can't buy more Master Balls!
You should also take the time to organise your team, especially since you, while you need Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion in your team to find Keldeo, you don't need them to battle it. This means that you can easily switch out these legendary Pokémon for your preferred team.
Though, if you want to keep one, we'd recommend Virizion, because, as long as it's level is close to 65, it's Leaf Blade attack will cause excellent opening damage to Keldeo.

For your team, we recommend having a couple of Pokémon that are around level 65 and have an advantage over Keldeo. This will allow you to cause quick and effective damage, with a reduced risk of knocking Keldeo out.
The rest of your team should be filled with higher level Pokémon that are not weak against Keldeo, so that they can act as a buffer while you throw PokéBalls. Ghost-type Pokémon are great buffer options as the majority of Keldeo's attacks don't work on them, so, if you're lucky, you can easily throw PokéBalls without taking any damage.

Paralysing or putting Keldeo to sleep will also ensure that it causes less damage to your team, making it easy to catch. Just make sure you don't poison or overpower Keldeo to the point of it fainting!
It may take some time to catch Keldeo, but, if you're careful and keep throwing those PokéBalls, you'll get there eventually!
With it finally in the wild, here's how to start the Crown Tundra DLC and our full Pokémon Crown Tundra walkthrough. Plus, here's how to catch Calyrex, Glastrier and Spectrier, the Regieleki and Regidrago puzzle solution and Regirock, Regice, Registeel locations, details on how to catch Legendary Birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres in the Crown Tundra, the Ultra Beasts and Necrozma adventure, Dynamax Adventures, including the legendries you can catch on these adventures, and the new Crown Tundra Pokédex and returning Pokémon explained. For Isle of Armor players, here's how to find the Slowpoke, where to find Max Mushroom locations, and how to get Kubfu, become best friends and evolve it, plus all Diglett locations too! For the base game, here's info on the ability to transfer Pokémon to Pokémon Home, the Wild Area, lists of all TM locations and TRs, all Galarian forms and finally our main Pokémon Sword and Shield walkthrough for the whole game.
